Born in California, he was a big scorer in junior hockey and is wasting no time showing he can do the same at the NHL level. Knows how to find openings in an opponent's defense and get his shot away quickly, but he is also a fine playmaker who can keep defenses honest. His play away from the puck is still a work in progress, and he needs to improve his quickness and fill out physically.
